This Nurse Practitioner position is with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves its surrounding community by providing top tier, high quality health. The Nurse Practitioner will be joining a Health Center that provides the best inhealthcare to their residents in the community with a focus on patients experiencing Mental Health and Substance Use. This center is also a School-Based Health Center, a founding member of the Multnomah County Homeless Youth Continuum, and an approved Veterans Affairs Patient-Centered Community Care Program. The Nurse Practitioner will be a resource for providing primary care medical services to the patients of the Center which may include the areas of pediatrics, general adult care, obstetrics, family planning, and newborn care.
Further responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner include participation in quality improvement meetings, providing assistance to other members of the medical team, implementing plans to meet the organization’s goals, and patient education. Qualifications of the Nurse Practitioner include completion of a nurse practitioner training program approved by the State of Oregon and Licensure by the state of Oregon by the Board of Nursing.
